Have You Heard Of A John Deere Model 62? Here's one for all those with Small Tractor Fever. This John Deere Model 62 was built only in 1937 with a total of 78 produced. The Model 62 soon became the model L tractor. A distinguishing feature is the Model 62 has a cast JD below the radiator. The 62 has a Hercules 55 cubic inch, 2 cylinder gasoline engine that could do about 10 horsepower on the belt. The engine in the John Deere Model L was later replaced with a John Deere built 2-cylinder gasoline
