Mathematics is so much more than equations and numbers. At Brandeis, applied mathematics majors not only learn mathematical theory, they work with mentors to find real world solutions to the problems people face today, tomorrow and years down the road. “I'm able to chat with professors who are doing work on number theory, probability, statistics, while also having the ability to work with professors and do research on various math in the world, both inside the field of math itself, but also in o
