FLAMINGOS! Three young flamingos have recently joined the Lake Tobias family - and they're so cute! Flamingos are filter feeders and that sound you hear is them filtering their food from the water. At 4-months-old, their feathers are a grayish color, but will turn pink as they get older. That beautiful flamingo-pink color actually comes from beta carotene in the food they eat.
