Today, the City of Irvine broke ground on the Irvine Fieldhouse, a 110,000-square-foot recreational facility in the Irvine Business Complex that will serve as a premier space for a variety of sports and help meet growing demand for indoor court space. New year, new look! The Irvine Civic Center’s clock tower is shining bright as we welcome 2025. Recent renovations, which began in October and wrapped up last month, included removing exterior paint and restoring the over 100-foot-tall steel structure to its original brilliance. Our thanks go out to the staff in Public Works & Sustainability for their efforts to bring this iconic landmark back to life. Happy World Bicycle Day! Irvine is home to 113 miles of off-street bikeway trails and 286 lane miles of on-street bikeways.
