GROWING FISH -- Hybrid sunfish production is in full swing at Blind Pony Hatchery near Sweet Springs. The young fingerling fish are initially placed into ponds to grow to stocking size. Once they grow to approximately 6-8" in size, they are then collected and sorted by size to ensure that only the best are stocked.
