Yesterday, we installed a temporary exhibit titled Remembering Our Fallen. The National Memorial includes military and personal photos of our nation’s military Fallen from The War on Terror since 9/11/2001. The exhibit will be outside the Museum until Wednesday, May 22 at 2pm. Tonight, immediate family and a few marines were able to gather privately to grieve and have short visitation with their hero United States Marine Corporal Chris Pineda. Cpl Pineda died tragically in vehicle accident on his way home for Easter. Social distancing rules are particularly challenging for those mourning the death of loved ones.
