Officers and soldiers from 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards have been training ahead of joining the United Nations mission in Mali, Mission des Nations Unies au Mali - MINUSMA. Part of the realistic exercise scenario involved a lone gunman and mass casualties, putting our soldiers through their paces. The aim of this exercise is to prepare them for their role as UN peacekeepers throughout their time in Mali.
